Google announced in the Wear OS Help Community post that it will launch an update for Wear OS to improve system performance and improve in three areas.
The first is the speed improvement. Google has made improvements to the Wear OS system to speed up App startup by 20%. The second item is to improve the pairing, setting the Wear OS watch and the pairing procedure have been improved. Finally, there is an increase in battery life.
However, Google's entire post is very general, without detailed description of the changes. For example, regarding the improvement of battery power, it only states that the smart watch will have longer battery usage, and it does not say what improvements have been made or how much power usage can be increased. Simply put, the app starts up 20% faster, the pairing is improved and the battery life is longer.
Even faster than before
With the new update, your Wear OS smartwatch will keep up even better with the fast pace of your life. We've improved Wear OS from top to bottom, making the app launch and boot time up to 20% faster.
