Good chat app, just a few annoying things Overall Slack is a good messaging/chat/sharing app. Plenty of useful things within the threads or PMs. Nice feature to delete messages and it archives shared images and docs automatically. One annoying bit is the lack of a dark theme for the main message area. Go to the Chrome Web Store. Find and select the app you want. Click Add to Chrome, or if it's a paid app, click Buy. Note: If you're installing an app at work or school, some apps might be blocked. Learn about using a managed device. On your phone, open the Chrome app. If you haven’t yet, sign in to Chrome. Find the extension you want. Tap Add to Desktop. Confirm by tapping Add to Desktop. The next time you open Chrome on your computer, you’ll see a message that the extension was installed. If the extension needs some permissions, you'll be asked.

Install the App

Google Chrome Mac App Store

1. Press Command+Space and type Terminal and press enter/return key.
2. Run in Terminal app:
   ruby -e '$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)' < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null
   and press enter/return key.
   If the screen prompts you to enter a password, please enter your Mac's user password to continue. When you type the password, it won't be displayed on screen, but the system would accept it. So just type your password and press ENTER/RETURN key. Then wait for the command to finish.
3. Run:
   brew cask install google-chrome

Done! You can now use Google Chrome.
